As a full-service veterinary clinic, Stagecoach Pet Hospital is dedicated to high-quality patient wellness and advanced medical care. You will utilize your skills across a diverse caseload, including Wellness and Prevention, Testing and Diagnostics, and complex Surgical Procedures. The facility is equipped to handle Advanced Care opportunities and Urgent Care cases for the Killeen community and the greater Austin area, allowing you to continually expand your medical expertise and professional capabilities.

Killeen provides immediate access to strong community engagement and the local culture of Central Texas, combined with the wider recreational and professional opportunities available near the state capital.

Responsibilities

  • Be the Director of First Impressions: Manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.
  • Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: Maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions to keep the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Advocate for Pet Health: Educate clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible.
  • Embody Compassion and Empathy: Be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own.

Requirements

  • A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
  • Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
  • A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
