About the role
At Duvall Veterinary Hospital, we believe the client experience starts the moment someone calls or walks through our doors. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist (Client Service Representative) to become an important part of our close-knit team.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communications
- Check patients in and out while ensuring a smooth visit
- Process payments and maintain accurate medical records
- Support the veterinary team by keeping the front desk running efficiently
- Help create a calm, caring, and positive experience for every client
Requirements
- Veterinary reception experience is a plus, but candidates with exceptional customer service experience are encouraged to apply
- Friendly, professional communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- A positive attitude and ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment
- A good sense of humor and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
- AVImark experience is a bonus
- Availability to work occasional Saturdays
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
