Veterinary Receptionist

About the role

DePorre Veterinary Hospital is a multi-doctor, AAHA accredited veterinary hospital located in Bloomfield Hills. We are a fast-paced hospital seeking a quick learner who works well with a team and can prioritize and multi-task effectively.

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer service experience in retail/restaurant/professional setting.
• Clear and concise communicator.
• Able to anticipate client needs.
• Experience using multi-line phones, computer proficient, and able to use basic office equipment.
• Able to work days (open from 7:15 am-6:00 pm Monday-Friday and some Saturdays (7:15 am-2:00 pm)).
• Veterinary experience a plus.
• The ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Answering phone calls, making appointments, checking in/out clients.
• Providing exceptional customer service.
• Processing communications regarding patients.
• Efficiently and accurately invoicing clients (exams, surgeries, hospital stays, medications).
• Client education.
• Light cleaning.
