About the role
Pet Specialists of Monterey (PSM), a BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital, is seeking a Radiology Specialist to join our emergency and specialty practice. The annual range for this position is $252,000- $295,000. Additionally, you may be eligible to earn certain production as determined in accordance with company policy.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using a 16-slice Toshiba Aquilion CT unit, stat-lab, rigid and flexible endoscopy, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and digital radiography.
- Collaborate with surgeons, internists, criticalists, cardiologists, and emergency doctors to support the practice.
- Participate in a Minimally Invasive Surgery program with rigid laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and arthroscopy, and assist in developing an Interventional Radiology program.
- Support the IR program through participation if applicable.
- Develop and maintain skills in interventional radiology.
- Work collaboratively with referring veterinarians, clients, and their pets to offer high-quality client service.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in California.
- Experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a referral setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated and able to work harmoniously with other doctors, staff, and referring veterinarians.
- A good sense of humor.
- Willingness to interact with referring veterinarians, clients, and their pets.

Pay
The annual range for this position is $252,000- $295,000. Production bonuses may also be eligible as determined by company policy.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is 24-hour coverage, including weekends and holidays.
