About the role
The Sploot Veterinary Care team is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT, CVT, or LVT) to join our dynamic and supportive team. Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians with surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, treatments, and diagnostics.
- Guide and reassure pet parents by clearly explaining care plans and at-home instructions.
- Perform blood draws, lab tests, IV catheter placement, radiographs (including dental), medication/vaccine administration, and assist with wound care.
- Maintain accurate digital records (with AI scribe support), restock supplies, and keep equipment clean and sterilized.
- Leverage clinic operations to ensure smooth workflow and patient care.

- Mentor and support new team members to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Requirements
- A current Colorado license as an RVT, CVT, or LVT.
- 4+ years of clinical experience in urgent or emergency care.
- Experience in dentistry and anesthesia.
- A team-first mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and process improvement skills.
- A compassionate and growth-oriented attitude, gentle with pets, respectful with clients, and motivated to improve veterinary care.

Pay
$30–$32/hour, plus 1.5x pay on Sploot-recognized holidays.
Schedule
10 or 12 hours shifts with varying days per week, no overnights.
