Veterinary Nurse Lead

About the role

The Sploot Veterinary Care team is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT, CVT, or LVT) to join our dynamic and supportive environment. Our mission is to provide exceptional veterinary care, backed by innovative technology and a culture of collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, treatments, and diagnostics.
• Guide and reassure pet parents by clearly explaining care plans and at-home instructions.
• Perform blood draws, lab tests, IV catheter placement, radiographs (including dental), medication/vaccine administration, and assist with wound care.
• Maintain accurate digital records (with AI scribe support), restock supplies, and keep equipment clean and sterilized.
• Leverage a tech-forward toolset, including a laparoscopic surgery suite and CoVET AI Scribe, to enhance clinical efficiency and patient care.
• Live our core values through open communication, teamwork, and a positive, solutions-focused mindset, while mentoring assistants and supporting the team.

Requirements

• A current Colorado license as an RVT, CVT, or LVT.
• 4+ years of vet tech experience.
• Experience in urgent or emergency care.
• Experience in dentistry and anesthesia.

Pay

$30–$32/hour, plus 1.5x pay on Sploot-recognized holidays.

Schedule

10 or 12 hours shifts with varying days per week, no overnights.
