Veterinary Nurse Lead

About the role

The Sploot Veterinary Care team is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT, CVT, or LVT) to join our dynamic and supportive team. Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, treatments, and diagnostics
• Guide and reassure pet parents by clearly explaining care plans and at-home instructions
• Perform blood draws, lab tests, IV catheter placement, radiographs (including dental), medication/vaccine administration, and assist with wound care
• Maintain accurate digital records (with AI scribe support), restock supplies, and keep equipment clean and sterilized
• Leverage a culture of open communication, teamwork, and a positive, solutions-focused mindset, while mentoring assistants and supporting the team

Requirements

• Current Colorado license as an RVT, CVT, or LVT
• 4+ years of vet tech experience
• Experience in urgent or emergency care
• Experience in dentistry and anesthesia

Pay

$30–$32/hour, plus 1.5x pay on Sploot-recognized holidays

Schedule

10 or 12 hours shifts with varying days per week, no overnights
