Veterinary Neurologist
About the role
The Premier Veterinary Group is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist to join their 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Referral Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Build out the neurology service alongside a strong existing team
- Offer advanced diagnostic and treatment tools including full scoping capabilities, high-flow oxygen and mechanical ventilation, digital radiology, ultrasound, CT, and 1.5 Tesla MRI
- Participate in clinical trials and research through Ethos Discovery and Science
Requirements
- Board-certified or residency-trained in veterinary neurology
- Experience in emergency and specialty referral settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Illinois
Skills
- Excellent diagnostic and therapeutic skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
Benefits
- Compensation range: $180,000 - $225,000 depending on experience, credentials, and schedule
- Sign-on bonuses and/or relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
