Salary Range: $220,000 to $300,000

About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital, in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a full-time boarded or residency-trained Neurologist to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological evaluations and treatments for patients
• Collaborate with other specialists to develop and implement treatment plans
• Conduct research and contribute to advancements in veterinary neurology
• Train and mentor veterinary students and residents
• Participate in hospital administrative meetings and committees

Requirements

• Board certification or completion of a residency program in veterinary neurology
• Experience in treating a variety of neurological conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in New York State
• Passing scores on the AVMA Council on Graduate Medical Education (COGME) examination
