Veterinary Neurolgist - Emergency Veterinary Hospital of Springfield

About the role

The Emergency Veterinary Hospital & Specialty Center of Eugene-Springfield, Oregon is seeking a specialist to join their growing neurology service. You will be working closely with Dr. Max Rinaldi and Dave Berg to build out the practice of your dreams.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological care to a variety of species including dogs, cats, and exotic pets.
• Collaborate with other specialists and veterinarians to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced imaging equipment such as a Toshiba 128-slice CT and Siemens Magnetom Avanto for diagnostic purposes.
• Participate in the development and implementation of continuing education programs for staff.
• Contribute to the growth and success of the neurology service within the hospital.

Requirements

• Current AVMA license and DEA certification.
• Experience in emergency and critical care settings preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Completion of a residency program in Neurology.
• Passing scores on the ABVPM (American College of Veterinary Pathologists) board exams.

Pay

Very competitive base salary with a monthly production bonus (no negative accrual).
