About the role
Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Neurologist to join their team. Located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, this hospital offers a unique hybrid model combining multiple specialty services with general practice, fostering a culture of teamwork and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced diagnostic and surgical care for patients with neurologic disorders
- Work within a multidisciplinary team including specialists, emergency doctors, general practitioners, certified technicians, assistants, and support staff
- Mentor rotating interns and contribute to ongoing learning and professional development
- Participate in teaching activities and collaborate on complex cases
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology and resources to deliver high-quality care
Requirements
- Board certification in veterinary neurology
- Experience in treating neurologic disorders in dogs and cats
- Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Colorado license to practice veterinary medicine
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting
- Passing scores on the AVMA-accredited residency examination

$200,000 - $250,000 USD
