About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an internist who wants to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative, well-supported environment with a strong referral base, advanced diagnostics, skilled nursing support, and significant hospital growth ahead.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive internal medicine services, including chronic and complex case management, consultations and second opinions, advanced diagnostic workups, specialized hospitalization, and procedures such as endoscopy and bronchoscopy.
  • Work alongside emergency doctors, experienced nursing teams, and more than 20 specialists across nine specialties.
  • Support complex patients, their families, referring veterinarians, and our multidisciplinary hospital teams.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
  • Residency training in small animal internal medicine
  • Board certification or board eligibility in small animal internal medicine
  • Massachusetts veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain
  • State and federal DEA license, or eligibility to obtain
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to collaborative specialty medicine and exceptional patient care
