About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an internist who wants to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative, well-supported environment with a strong referral base, advanced diagnostics, skilled nursing support, and significant hospital growth ahead.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive internal medicine services, including chronic and complex case management, consultations and second opinions, advanced diagnostic workups, specialized hospitalization, and procedures such as endoscopy and bronchoscopy.
- Work alongside emergency doctors, experienced nursing teams, and more than 20 specialists across nine specialties.
- Support complex patients, their families, referring veterinarians, and our multidisciplinary hospital teams.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
- Residency training in small animal internal medicine
- Board certification or board eligibility in small animal internal medicine
- Massachusetts veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain
- State and federal DEA license, or eligibility to obtain
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to collaborative specialty medicine and exceptional patient care

Pay
$200,000–$225,000 plus production, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and schedule.
