About the role

The ideal candidate will join the MedVet/WestVet Team and treat over 100,000 patients annually. They will be part of an integrated emergency and veterinary specialty hospital in Boise, Idaho, which is the first of its kind in Idaho. The position offers a unique surgical residency program shared with Washington State University and a strong rotating internship program.

Responsibilities

• Treat over 100,000 patients annually
• Practice quality medicine in a fast-paced environment
• Join an AAHA accredited and VECCS Level II Emergency Facility
• Offer a wide range of services including anesthesia, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, internal medicine, medical oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, and surgery
• Participate in a veterinary social work program
• Work closely with a nearby urgent care facility to provide a continuum of care

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be residency-trained or a Veterinary Internist with experience in internal medicine. They must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Idaho and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
