Job Summary
Denver Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Board Certified or Residency Trained Internal Medicine Specialist. This position is part of a new phase of growth in specialty care, offering a thoughtfully designed, outpatient-focused model in the Denver community.
About the Role
This is a specialist-led hospital in surgery and internal medicine where clinical leaders play a central role in shaping services, building teams, and defining standards of care. The schedule is a 4-day work week with no on-call or weekend responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive internal medicine care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with surgical specialists to manage complex cases
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their understanding of treatment options
- Utilize ultrasound capabilities as needed or willing to learn
Requirements
- Board Certification or completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine
- Experience in both surgical and internal medicine specialties
- Excellent communication skills and client focus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Colorado
- Experience in emergency and critical care is a plus

- Salary base: $200,000 with 25% production bonus potential
