Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team at Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care Center. The position offers a supportive environment with access to advanced medical equipment and a comprehensive network of veterinary professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert diagnosis and treatment of internal medicine conditions in dogs and cats
• Collaborate with other specialists and emergency doctors to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Contribute to ongoing research and clinical education initiatives
• Participate in continuing education programs to stay updated on the latest veterinary medicine advancements

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
• State Veterinary Board License in good standing
• Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure
• Board Certification in Veterinary Internal Medicine
• Residency training in internal medicine

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and experience in internal medicine
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Passionate about animal welfare and veterinary care
