About the role

Our externship program is designed to give veterinary students a well-rounded clinical experience in a welcoming, high-quality practice environment. As part of the National Veterinary Associates (NVA) network, we are committed to fostering a positive learning experience rooted in mentorship, teamwork, and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one mentorship from seasoned Associate Veterinarians
• Hands-on experience performing physical exams and gathering patient histories
• Diagnostic workups, treatment plan creation, and case discussions
• Exposure to dentistry services and the opportunity to assist in surgical procedures
• Client communication training and team collaboration opportunities
