Veterinary Extern - General Practice

About the role

Students will work closely with our supervising Associate Veterinarian to gain hands-on experience in gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, developing treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry services, observing and assisting with surgical procedures, and medical management of patients.

Qualifications

Students in their final clinical year of veterinary school are eligible for this externship. Veterinary students who are in the clinical portion of their education may also be eligible for a travel/living expense stipend.

Skills

Strong communication skills are essential as students work alongside our medical team, support staff, and clients.
