About the role
An externship experience at Parkersburg Veterinary Hospital will provide students with a unique opportunity to understand daily operations and gain hands-on clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Follow doctors in appointments and perform physical exams
- Help create diagnostic and treatment plans
- Follow through with client communication and treatments
- Assist in surgery
- Perform minor procedures such as spays and neuters, as able
Requirements
Eligible for 3rd and 4th year students in the clinical portion of their education. Students must be currently enrolled in a veterinary school.
