BluePearl in Overland Park, Kansas is seeking a Veterinary Dermatologist to join their team. BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Overland Park, KS is a state-of-the-art facility offering 24/7 emergency care and specialized services including critical care, integrative medicine, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, and surgery. The hospital features advanced diagnostic tools such as CT scan, laparoscopy, upper and lower endoscopy, ultrasound, and an intensive care unit. Located in the heart of Kansas City, BluePearl serves the southwestern Kansas City area, including Leawood, Olathe, Kansas City, KS, and Merriam.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dermatological care for hospitalized patients
• Conduct thorough examinations and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with other specialists and support staff
• Participate in case conferences and contribute to clinical discussions
• Continuously update knowledge on dermatological advancements and best practices

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Kansas
• Experience in dermatology, preferably in a referral setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about veterinary medicine and animal welfare

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited internship program
• Completion of an accredited residency program in veterinary dermatology
