Veterinary Criticalist
Job Summary
Garden State Veterinary Services would like to add a full time board-certified, or residency trained Veterinary Criticalist to our well established, rapidly growing 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital!
About the Role
As an additional Criticalist at Garden State Veterinary Services, you will have the opportunity to work alongside, collaborate and support our other specialists in: Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Emergency. Our clients and patients will also have streamlined transferable access to Medical and Radiation Oncology, Dentistry, Dermatology, and Rehab at our sister practice, Garden State Veterinary Specialists, in Eatontown, which is less than 30-minutes away! With the support of the medical director, it will be an honor to have you be an integral part of our family, creating a department that will both support our mission as well as permit limitless, professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide life-changing treatment to the patients of our community
- Mentor support staff and intern doctors
- Collaborate with the referring community
- Be a champion of client service
Requirements
- Board-certified or residency trained in Veterinary Critical Care
- Experience in Emergency and Specialty care
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work weekends

- Advanced education and experience in veterinary medicine
