About the role
Bellevue Emergency Veterinary & Specialty seeks a full-time board-certified or board eligible Critical Care specialist to join their Specialty and Emergency Hospital in Bellevue/Seattle, WA. The hospital offers referral and emergency services with a team of specialists including surgeons, internists, medical oncologists, cardiologists, radiologists, and a clinical pathologist. The position involves managing complex cases and maintaining a supportive, culture-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage critical care cases to the highest standard.
- Participate in daily case rounds and continuing education programs.
- Provide referrals and emergency services to the Bellevue/Seattle area.
- Collaborate with other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Promote and maintain a positive hospital culture.
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in Critical Care.
- Experience in managing critical care cases.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A commitment to excellence in patient care.
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized veterinary residency program in Critical Care.
- Current AVMA and/or ACVIM certification in Critical Care.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Skills
