Veterinary Criticalist

About the role

VetMED Specialty and Emergency Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Criticalist to join their collaborative specialty and emergency team.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Dermatology and a busy 24/7 Emergency team in a collaborative environment
• Provide multidisciplinary care for critical patients
• Collaborate with specialists and emergency clinicians to ensure the highest level of patient care
• Support the Critical Care service with a dedicated ICU, extensive equipment, and a supportive team

Requirements

• Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Critical Medicine
• Experience in critical care and emergency medicine
• Strong clinical skills and ability to manage complex cases
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current AVMA accreditation
• Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Arizona

• Advanced critical care and emergency medicine skills

• Proven ability to manage complex cases
• Knowledge of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques
