About the role

The healthcare team includes great clinical services team members (our well-trained technicians), a community of Critical Care specialists across our organization, and medical leaders who understand what it takes to deliver profession-leading specialty and emergency care.
Responsibilities
- Mentoring House Officers
- Collaborating with the Critical Care team to provide 24/7 emergency and specialty care
- Performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as extracorporeal therapies, hemoperfusion, hemodialysis, and electrochemotherapy
- Communicating effectively with clients and referring veterinarians
- Contributing to the development of referral partnerships based on trust, respect, communication, and empathy
Requirements
- Board certification or residency training in veterinary critical care
- Experience in providing critical care services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Louisiana
- Passport for international travel if required for patient referrals
