About the role
Powers Pet Emergency and Specialty is seeking a board certified Criticalist to join their growing team. Located in Colorado Springs, CO, the hospital is AAHA-accredited and offers a range of specialties including Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Radiology. The hospital provides advanced diagnostic and treatment options, including mechanical ventilators, CT/MRI, and multiple oxygen kennels.
Responsibilities
- Manage critical patients and see cases in the busy ER.
- Work collaboratively with all specialty services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Enjoy all aspects of Emergency and Critical Care, including mechanical ventilation, imaging, and surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Board certification in Critical Care.
- Comfortable managing critical patients and cases.
- Experience in a 24-hour emergency and specialty setting.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for veterinary medicine and the human-animal bond.
