Veterinary Criticalist
About the role
Boston West Veterinary Emergency & Specialty is now hiring a full-time Criticalist to join their team in Natick, MA. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in emergency and critical care, collaborate with a supportive team, and contribute to the hospital's growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care alongside an experienced ER and specialty team
- Strengthen hospital-wide critical care standards and elevate patient outcomes
- Dedicate 6 hours each week within your regular schedule, off the clinical floor, to hands-on teaching, rounds, and wet labs with ER clinicians and technicians
- Work three 12-hour clinical shifts per week with no weekends
- Support the continued development of our emergency and critical care service with a future goal of building an ER training program
Requirements
- Board-certified or residency-trained Criticalist (newly boarded welcome)
- Passion for advancing emergency and critical care in a collaborative setting
- Strong communicator who enjoys teaching and supporting others
- Someone who values teamwork, kindness, and a positive hospital culture
Qualifications
- Competitive salary - ranging from $210,000 to $250,000 depending on experience
