Job Responsibilities

  • Represent the practice with professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude.
  • Greet clients, patients, and visitors.
  • Answer telephone, answer questions, promote practice services and products, make appointments, transfer calls, and take messages.
  • Proficiently use computers, including those in the Microsoft Windows 365 environment.
  • Prepare patient records, prepare invoices, maintain an organized and clean reception area, assist clients with animals, children, and packages.
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies.

Job Requirements/Skills

  • Able to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
  • Speaks in an articulate manner and with a pleasant telephone voice.
  • Able to operate a multiline telephone.
  • Able to operate computer systems and software in the Microsoft Windows 365 environment.
  • Able to apply basic math skills.
  • Able to use a copier, credit card processor.
  • Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and knowledge in EZYVET practice management software is a plus.
