Veterinary Client Service Representative - Primary Care

About the role

Pieper Veterinary is seeking a Client Service Representative with a focus on Primary Care to join their team in Middletown, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary setting, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Handle medications for clients.
• Communicate with clients in a calm, friendly, and empathetic manner, even during challenging situations.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team to provide exceptional service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary setting.
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology or willingness to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Willingness to continue learning and stay updated on best practices in client service and veterinary care.

Pay

$18.75 - $24.75 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position: 5 days a week - 8 hours a day. Weekends and Holidays are required.
