Veterinary Client Service Representative
About the Role
Thrive Pet Healthcare is one of the first veterinary services offering a comprehensive continuum of care for pets’ primary, specialty, and acute needs. Through a nationwide community of over 360 veterinary providers and an industry-leading membership program, Thrive provides personalized, accessible care through every stage of a pet’s life and health. This part-time position requires 20-30 hours per week, including some weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Communicate via phone, email, and in person with clients and actively listen to their concerns.
- Utilize computer information systems to accurately enter client/patient information, update and maintain medical records.
- Process client payments and invoices.
- Schedule and confirm appointments with patients.
- Precisely dispense pharmaceuticals as needed and call in prescriptions to pharmacies.
- Perform other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; AAS or higher preferred.
- At least 6 months of customer service experience.
- Veterinary hospital experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squat, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day.

Pay
Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, with a starting rate ranging from $16–18/hr. The actual rate offered will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
