Veterinary Client Service Representative
About the role
Dynamite Animal Hospital seeks a Veterinary Client Service Representative to join their collaborative team in North Scottsdale. Founded in 2002, they provide primary care, emergency, and urgent care, bathing, and grooming services for dogs and cats across Scottsdale, Rio Verde, Carefree, Phoenix, and Cave Creek.
Responsibilities
- Greeting clients and pets warmly and setting the tone for a positive visit
- Aiding new clients with registration and communicating expected wait times
- Answering phones, emails, and non-medical client questions with professionalism and empathy
- Scheduling appointments, diagnostics, and follow-ups
- Collaborating with referring hospitals to obtain patient records
- Maintaining accurate client and patient information in hospital systems
- Ensuring financial responsibilities are met, including invoicing and cash drawer reconciliation
- Keeping reception, waiting, and exam areas clean and organized
- Supporting, mentoring, and collaborating with fellow team members
Requirements
- Customer service experience required; 1+ year of veterinary experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills with a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable handling financial transactions and basic accounting
- Professional, kind, and trustworthy communication with clients and teammates
- Willingness to work certain holidays
Preferred Experience & Skills
