Veterinary Client Service Representative
About the role
The Veterinary Client Service Representative position at Heart of Texas in Round Rock, TX is a full-time shift with Sunday-Wednesday hours from 2pm-12am. Shift differentials are available for night and weekend shifts. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $17 – $19 / hour.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients in a prompt and friendly manner
- Check in patients in a timely fashion
- Schedule appointments
- Receive all incoming calls with a calm, pleasant, professional demeanor
- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of waiting room and reception area
- Payment processing and cash handling, and account balancing
- Accurately update client files and document communications
Requirements
You are a compassionate and organized Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)/Veterinary Receptionist with strong customer service, front desk, and client communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary hospital. You’re comfortable managing appointment scheduling, multi-line phones, check in/check out, payment processing, and practice management software while delivering an exceptional client experience.

- Able to remain calm and compassionate while carrying on a multitude of other tasks
- Works well on a team
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Previous experience with patient scheduling preferred
- Previous veterinary experience preferred
- Bilingual abilities a plus
