Join Our Compassionate Veterinary Team! Are you passionate about helping pets and the people who love them? We’re seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
- Process invoices and payments
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
- Determine the status of the patient’s immunizations and tests
- Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient’s arrival and necessary treatments
- Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
- Accurately input data into computer software
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced veterinary environment
- A compassionate, empathetic, and professional attitude
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn veterinary practice management software
- Previous veterinary reception, veterinary customer service, medical reception, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
Schedule Requirements
- Evening shifts ending at 8:00 PM and/or 11:00 PM
- At least one weekend shift each week
- Additional weekday shifts based on hospital needs
