Veterinary Client Service Representative

About the role

Clarksville Veterinary Specialists & Animal Emergency (CVES) is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. This opportunity is ideal for an animal lover with strong customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment while supporting clients, patients, and medical teams.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients, assist with paperwork, and provide guidance throughout their visit.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and through email communication.
• Manage administrative tasks including data entry, appointment scheduling, and medical record updates.
• Maintain accurate client and patient information.
• Manage financial processes including maintaining the cash drawer and assisting with client transactions.
• Address client questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate with veterinary team members to support efficient hospital operations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve client and patient experiences.
• Auxiliary on-call duties after successful completion of training.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required; veterinary or medical reception experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, teammates, and medical staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Positive, team-focused attitude with the ability to adapt to changing hospital needs.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging client interactions.
• Flexibility to work beyond scheduled hours when necessary.
• Ability to participate in weekend anesthesia on-call and specialty weekend scheduling requirements.
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Swing Shift

Pay

$17-26/hour based on experience$2.50/hour shift differential available after 6:00 PM and on weekends
