Veterinary Cardiologist

About the role

Guardian Veterinary Specialists is a privately-owned, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital located in upper Westchester County, NY. We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiac conditions including: Congestive heart failure, Congenital heart disease, Acquired heart disease, Arrhythmias, Pericardial and pleural space disease.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as echocardiogram, electrocardiogram, angiography, balloon valvuloplasty, cardiac CT, fluoroscopy, holter monitoring, pacemaker implantation, patent ductus arteriosus occlusion, pericardiocentesis.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled veterinarians and support staff to provide comprehensive care.
• Continuously learn and grow in your field of expertise.

Requirements

• Board-Certified or Board-Certifiable in Cardiology.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Open to working overnights.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New York.
• Experience in treating a variety of cardiac conditions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
