Veterinary Cardiologist

About the role

Southern Rockies Animal Emergency & Specialty in Colorado Springs is seeking a full-time boarded or residency-trained Cardiologist to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a skilled Emergency team
• Access to the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options in southern Colorado
• Work in a hospital that is AAHA-accredited and licensed for radiation therapies
• Work in a hospital with a variety of specialists including Cardiology, Radiology, and Rehabilitation
• Work in a hospital equipped with Snyder oxygen cages, telemetry, direct arterial BP and O2 monitoring, anesthesia ventilators, CT, C-arm fluoroscopy, endoscopy, and a highly trained ER and technician staff
• Offer the gold standard level of veterinary care and be available to help the clients and their pet companions

Requirements

• Boarded or residency-trained in Cardiology
• Experience in a 24-hour Emergency and Specialty practice
• Experience with advanced diagnostic and treatment options
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Colorado

Pay

Salary range: $190,000 - $225,000 annually plus production based on experience
