Veterinary Cardiologist

About the role

The BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a second Veterinary Cardiologist to join our team in Southfield, MI. This position will work alongside our current Cardiologist to provide comprehensive care for pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cardiac evaluations and treatments using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.
• Collaborate with other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for complex cases.
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication to pet owners regarding medical conditions and treatment options.
• Contribute to the educational and professional development of veterinary students and residents through mentorship and training programs.

Requirements

• Board-certified or residency-trained veterinary cardiologist.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Michigan.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Experience with advanced cardiac diagnostics and treatments.
• Knowledge of cardiology principles and techniques.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
