Veterinary Assistant Experienced

VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital is growing! We are adding a Veterinary Assistant to our Emergency teams to better service the people and pets in our community. Join our unique, fast-paced general, specialty, and emergency practice, working alongside general practitioners, specialists, and dedicated technical and support staff to provide exemplary patient care 24/7/365 days a year.

VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital is a one-stop shop for pet care, offering 24-hour emergency care and specialty services in Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency and Critical Care. Responsibilities

• Anesthesia monitoring
• Full Technician Skill Utilization
• Collecting patient histories and physical exams
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands-Free Radiology (associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients

Schedule

Full-time position with weekend rotation required. Day and swing shifts available.

Pay

$17 - $25 per hour, based on experience and skill set.
