Responsibilities
- Assisting with patient restraint during examinations, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures.
- Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring recovery under veterinary supervision.
- Supporting laboratory testing, radiology, and diagnostic procedures.
- Cleaning, stocking, and preparing exam rooms and treatment areas.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documenting treatments as directed.
- Assisting with patient intake, obtaining medical histories, and preparing patients for appointments.
- Providing compassionate nursing care, including walking, feeding, and monitoring hospitalized patients.
- Educating clients on preventive care, medications, discharge instructions, and hospital recommendations.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment.
- Collaborating with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care and an outstanding client experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician Assistant is preferred.
- A genuine passion for animal health and patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to safely lift, restrain, and handle patients of various sizes.
- Flexibility to work rotating Saturdays as part of the hospital schedule.

Pay
$16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule
Full-time position with rotating Saturday shifts.
