Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care, including diagnostics, treatment support, surgical preparation, and anesthesia monitoring
- Aid with radiology, dentistry, laboratory diagnostics, and medical documentation
- Inform pet parents about treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Promote Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques
- Lead by example through strong technical skills and medical excellence
- Support training and development of Veterinary Assistants and Veterinary Technicians
- Champion Petfolk initiatives and help drive key clinic performance metrics
- Support daily Pet Care Center operations and serve as the acting clinic leader when the Business Manager is unavailable
- Facilitate team huddles and help manage daily appointment flow
- Maintain clinic performance metrics and support operational improvements
- Coordinate staffing, schedule adjustments, and workflow management
- Address client concerns with empathy, professionalism, and accountability
- Manage inventory, ensure facility readiness, and comply with regulations
- Create an exceptional experience for every pet parent who walks through our doors
Requirements
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Previous clinical leadership experience required
- Strong technical skills and confidence in patient care, diagnostics, and anesthesia support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teammates
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented
- Fear Free Certification is a plus

- Experience in a veterinary clinic setting
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for veterinary medicine and customer service
