Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including diagnostics, treatment support, surgical preparation, and anesthesia monitoring
  • Aid with radiology, dentistry, laboratory diagnostics, and medical documentation
  • Inform pet parents about treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
  • Promote Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques
  • Lead by example through strong technical skills and medical excellence
  • Support training and development of Veterinary Assistants and Veterinary Technicians
  • Champion Petfolk initiatives and help drive key clinic performance metrics
  • Support daily Pet Care Center operations and serve as the acting clinic leader when the Business Manager is unavailable
  • Facilitate team huddles and help manage daily appointment flow
  • Maintain clinic performance metrics and support operational improvements
  • Coordinate staffing, schedule adjustments, and workflow management
  • Address client concerns with empathy, professionalism, and accountability
  • Manage inventory, ensure facility readiness, and comply with regulations
  • Create an exceptional experience for every pet parent who walks through our doors

Requirements

  • 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
  • Previous clinical leadership experience required
  • Strong technical skills and confidence in patient care, diagnostics, and anesthesia support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teammates
  • Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Fear Free Certification is a plus

  • Experience in a veterinary clinic setting
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for veterinary medicine and customer service
