About the role
Mountain Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated and versatile Veterinary Assistant/Client Service Representative to join our team. In this dual-role position, you'll be a vital part of both our medical support team and our reception staff.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with outpatient visits and procedures
- Educating pet owners
- Managing appointment flow
- Maintaining a warm, professional presence as the face of our hospital
- Collaborating with our doctors and veterinary technicians
- Engaging with clients in person and over the phone to answer questions, schedule appointments, and provide guidance on our services
Requirements
- 1+ years of veterinary assistant or veterinary receptionist experience
- Proficiency in client communication
- Proficiency in patient restraint/handling
- Proficiency in SQ injections
- Proficiency in medical note taking

- Minimum qualifications and skill set as outlined above

This is a full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Tuesday-Saturday.
Company Information
Mountain Veterinary Hospital is a four-doctor, full-service, small animal practice providing conventional medical and surgical treatment for dogs and cats as well as physical therapy, rehabilitation, and alternative medicine. Alternative medicine includes acupuncture, stem cell/platelet rich plasma therapy, and Chinese herbal medicine. To support our services, we have an underwater treadmill, two Class IV lasers, digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house blood chemistry.
