Responsibilities

• Efficiently rooms patients and ensures timely patient flow.
• Documents patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Processes and documents messages as needed.
• Works collaboratively with providers, managers, and staff to support quality and cost-effective operations.
• Maintains positive relationships with patients, their families, the public, and coworkers.
• Assists in facilitating interactions between patients and the practice team.

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant Certification or completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Experience in a physician office and computer use.
• Interpersonal and intra-professional relations skills.
• Commitment to collaborating with physicians to enhance patient care.
• Clinical competence in acute care patient management/organization.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $17.00-$23.00 per hour, DOE.
