Veterinary Assistant
Brier Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team and support exceptional experiences for our clients and patients across all aspects of hospital care.

Responsibilities
- Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
- Providing safe, gentle patient handling and restraint during outpatient and procedural care
- Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment documentation
- Building positive client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
- Maintaining clean, organized, and fully prepared exam rooms, treatment areas, and procedural spaces
Requirements
- 2+ years of veterinary assistant or related role preferred
- Proficiency in safe animal handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments
- Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team members
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday
- Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service
Pay
$22–$25 per hour
Schedule
Full-time, 4/10 schedule with availability needed Monday–Saturday (rotating Saturdays).

We are a four-doctor hospital that has provided high-quality care to dogs and cats in Mountlake Terrace and the surrounding areas for more than 13 years. As one of the area’s highest-rated animal hospitals, it makes our day when clients tell us we’re the only veterinary team they trust to care for their beloved pets. We’re currently open Monday–Saturday, and mainly perform routine GP services as well as soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
