VCA Shrewsbury is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join their medical team. Established for over forty years, the hospital focuses on delivering high-quality medical care to both patients and pet parents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medical records.
• Prepare surgical suite and surgical patients.
• Fill prescriptions.
• Perform laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Provide compassionate care and a comfortable boarding and hospitalization experience for pets.

Requirements

• Experience in veterinary assisting or related field.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician preferred.

Pay

• The salary range for this position is $17 - $21 / hour.
