About the role
Sycamore Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team in Newtown, PA. We are a 40+ year-old practice committed to providing high-quality care to pets in the local community.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
- Absorb and record medical information
- Handle and restrain dogs and cats
- Collect laboratory samples and assist with diagnostics
- Support surgical and dental procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized treatment area
- Provide educational support to clients
Requirements
- At least one year of veterinary assistant experience
- Enjoy working with both pets and people
- Can stay organized in a busy hospital setting
- Communicates well with teammates and clients
- Takes initiative and enjoys learning new skills
- Brought a positive attitude and dependable work ethic
Qualifications
- Experience with surgery, venipuncture, laboratory procedures, or anesthesia is appreciated

Schedule
Full-time or part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling available, including shared evening coverage and rotating Saturday morning shifts. Major holidays observed.
