Eyota Veterinary Clinic is reopening and seeking new staff members. Ideal candidates are dedicated, self-driven, and enthusiastic veterinary assistants looking for growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant
• Client service-oriented
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Aid veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Communicate with clients; answer phones, respond to emails and text messages
• Schedule appointments
• Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines
• Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records
• Inform clients about pet care and keep a clean, organized work environment
• Clean and maintain the hospital, restock supplies, provide patient care, launder clothes, and more

Pay Range

$16.00 and up to be determined based on experience.
