Patient Population: Dogs, Cats, Small Mammals, Reptiles & Birds

About the Role

Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join an established Anesthesia & Pain Management Service. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of veterinary specialists in a highly advanced clinical and teaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sedated and anesthetized patients.
• Develop and manage anesthesia, sedation, and pain management plans.
• Supervise and educate veterinary technicians, interns, and residents.
• Provide in-house anesthesia and pain management consultations.
• Consult with referring veterinarians regarding complex cases.
• Provide lectures and educational training for interns, residents, and referring veterinarians.
• Collaborate with specialists across multiple veterinary services.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Veterinary Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for New York State veterinary licensure.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teaching skills.
• Interest in collaborative, multidisciplinary veterinary medicine.
