Village Veterinary Clinic in Lompoc, CA, is seeking an Associate DVM with 5+ years of experience and strong surgery and clinical skills. While our focus is on small animal services, we also treat large animals and exotics, with a particular emphasis on small animals and pocket pets.
About the role
This is a full-time position with a schedule of either four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days per week, including rotating on-call services.
Responsibilities
- Provide small animal medicine with opportunities to explore special interests
- Perform routine procedures, dentistry, internal medicine, and emergency services
- Deliver client education with effective, compassionate, and respectful communication

Qualifications
- DVM or VMD degree
- Valid California veterinary license (or ability to obtain one)
- DEA license (or ability to obtain one)
- 5+ years of experience preferred, but all experience levels considered
- Strong surgery and clinical skills
- Excellent client communication and customer service skills

Pay
Salary range: $130,000 – $150,000 annually. Individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
