Veterinarian - Urgent Care

About the role

Kentuckiana Animal Clinic is seeking to hire an Urgent Care Veterinarian (DVM) to join their team. This is a new position at their hospital designed to expand their service hours to better meet the needs of the community.

Responsibilities

• Care and services of non-critical emergencies, including skin lacerations, vomiting, limping, ear infections, eye and skin issues, etc.

Requirements

• A passion for and experience with emergency care
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Kentucky
• Current DEA registration

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an ACVIM accredited institution
• Experience with emergency care preferred

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving abilities

This role is during the Monday through Friday work week that starts in the afternoon and extends to the evening.
