This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys fast-paced medicine, case variety, and greater clinical independence while still benefiting from the support, collaboration, and resources of a large multi-doctor hospital.

Urgent care at Southview offers the best of both worlds: the pace and variety of same-day medicine with the support of experienced colleagues, advanced diagnostics, skilled technicians, 24-hour hospitalization support, and visiting specialists when cases require additional collaboration.

What This Role Offers

  • Greater autonomy and clinical independence within a collaborative hospital setting
  • A flexible urgent care model with scheduled arrival times and emergent walk-in availability
  • A diverse and engaging caseload
  • Advanced onsite diagnostics, including ultrasound, CT, and endoscopic procedures
  • Visiting specialist support, including cardiology, soft tissue surgery, and orthopedic surgery, with remote specialist support available for radiology and more
  • Collaboration with an experienced team of doctors, technicians, and support staff
  • The ability to remain hands-on in patient care as cases move forward
  • Support from a hospital structure designed for more complex patient management

Southview’s urgent care model allows doctors to manage a wide range of cases while having access to the people, tools, and resources needed to provide thoughtful and efficient care. It is a great fit for a veterinarian who enjoys medical variety, problem-solving, client communication, and the ability to help patients when timely access matters most.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable navigating urgent care cases with a higher level of independence while collaborating closely within a larger hospital team.
