About the role

Keepers Animal Clinic is seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Associate Veterinarian to join their growing practice. They are expanding into a new, 4,000 sq. ft. facility in late June/early July, just 3 minutes from their current location. The new hospital features a dedicated surgery suite and dental suite, spacious treatment area, six exam rooms, and a comfortable team break room. Equipped with advanced technology, the clinic supports high-quality medicine including ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental x-ray, and therapeutic laser.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of a consistent caseload (typically 15+ patients/day)
• Flexible scheduling designed for true work/life balance
• No weekends, no late nights, and no overnight shifts
• Structured schedule with surgery days (typically starting at 8:00 AM) and appointment days (starting at 8:30 AM, closing at 5:45 PM)
• Collaborative and positive team culture prioritizing a toxic-free workplace
• Strong support staff with a 1:2 doctor-to-tech/assistant ratio, including three LVTs

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Washington
• Experience in small animal medicine and surgery
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
