About the role

Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care in Portland, Maine is seeking a dedicated residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Radiologist to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced professionals and utilize a variety of diagnostic modalities including MRI, 64-slice GE CT, 5 ultrasounds, and two dedicated radiology suites.
• Utilize fully equipped department along with an educated and highly trained support staff—such as a dedicated LVT and TA assigned specifically to support radiologists.
• Practice innovative medicine within a supportive and collaborative work environment.
• Join a team transitioning into a NEW cutting-edge 42,000 sq ft hospital set to open in 2026.

Qualifications

• Residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Radiologist.
• Experience with a wide range of diagnostic modalities including MRI, CT, and ultrasound.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
